Community tips

The Municipal Association of Victoria is teaming up with councils across the state to provide video content that highlights the good work that councils do.

The first video that was launched in August 2018 featured MAV President Mary Lalios and City of Port Phillip Deputy Mayor Dick Gross discussing how councils do much more than simply "roads, rates & rubbish". It also launched a video detailing how rate capping works and what it means for your rates bill.

Vic Councils along with the City of Greater Dandenong released a video with spring gardening tips in September 2018 that can be used in any home across the state. This was followed up by a video about common recycling mistakes with Moonee Valley in October 2018.
